Status of other entrances to the center unclear. Some claim the center is partially shutdown. But others say the action has not yet achieved its stated goal and the center is still operating.
Images from the scene show some people are staging a sit down in the street.
Police have moved in and dispersed the protest. At least 3 arrests reported. Reports of some injuries from police batons.
At one point police charged a group of about 75 people to make a snatch and grab arrest, some protesters taken but others got away. One officer fell face first to the pavement during the charge.
At this time remaining protesters have pulled back from the police line and are trying to regroup. Protest appears to be dying down.
This is what I was talking about, targeted traffic blocking. Pick your own targets and block traffic. My is swollen with love and respect for the folks doing this action.
