Dependence on funders instead of the people is dangerous. The problem is the system, not the republicans. We've become incapable of addressing global warming, health care etc. Crisis is an opportunity to do something, getting a government that is responsible.

We have a democracy corrupted compared to the founders' ideas, a system distorted by money.
