THE BILL OF THE LIBYAN WAR

by F?bio de Oliveira Ribeiro Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011 at 1:35 PM
sithan@ig.com.br

To understand what happened is enough not to give attention to the media.

We won't miss Kadafi. After all, he was addicted in the power, it didn't create an independent Political Regime of his august person and he acted as amateur when leaving in the hands of the Europeans the money that could use to defend his country of an external aggression. However, honesty is a thing that we should respect. On behalf of her the money of Libya should be returned to the Libyan people immediately. But it is not this that will happen.

This week Cameron, the First English Minister, said that the Libyan money will be liberated as soon as the country be stabilized. This doesn't pass of an euphemism. What Cameron actually wanted saying is that the Libyan money will be liberated after the European expenses with the war go pay and, eventually, when the new leaders of Libya accept the European terms, that obviously are two: denationalization of the petroleum in benefit of the western oil companies and; contracts of reconstruction of the country with European companies.

Pillage in national scale. That is what we are seeing in Libya. Europe repeats in the North of Africa what the USA did in Iraq. It is the famous creative destruction . The civilized and humanitarian Occident destroe completely the infrastructure of a country to heat up his warlike industry and later it is with the best than the country can provide when rebuilding what was destroyed (control of the petroleum and of the income produced by the exploration of the same).

The fucking western values, as democracy and free elections, enter in the process just as a discursive justification for the intervention. After all, Saudi Arabia is not and it was never a democracy and even so it always counted with the Occident support because the Al Saud family has been efficient in to assist the western expectations and to maintain his people controlled under the most brutal and durable dictatorship of Middle East. In practice what we are seeing is just the old renewed colonialism, retouched and made up.
