Celebrate Hemp History Week with the Green Party!
Join the Los Angeles Greens for vegetarian potluck and a talk on "How industrial hemp will help California's economy." Using hemp for food, medicine, fuel, fiber, paper and up to 50,000 products made from industrial hemp; provides jobs, cultivates the soil, preserves the trees, and creates energy we can inject into our struggling economy.
We'll also discuss state and federal hemp legislation, including the Tax and Control Cannabis Initiative relating to fully legalizing cannabis hemp (marijuana). Be sure to sign a postcard addressed to President Obama which puts an end to the status quo and lets farmers grow hemp!
