The Brazilian Camex (External Chamber of Commerce) it decided today to retaliate imported products of the USA, as a consequence of the subsidies given by the country to the producing of cotton. The details will only be published in the next 28.
The Brazilian Ministry of the Development is announcing the decision now.
The World Trade Organization had authorized Brazil to retaliate USA in US$ 820 million because of the illegal subsidies granted to the producing of cotton, but my country had not adopted the sanction up to now.
For me Brazil should already have made this from when the USA were condemned in the World Trade Organization. Better late than never.
