Anti-fascist activists are declaring victory in shutting down a Nazi rally in Riverside.
Caller from the scene reports a group of about 20 Nazis tried to stage a rally in front of a HomeDepot store this morning in Riverside. A contingent of close to 100 activists, including Mecha, Brown Berets, local anarchists and day labors at the site were able break up the rally. Activists surrounded the Nazis and attempted to seize their Nazi flags and burn them. Nazis were forced to retreat under the protection of a police escort. No arrests or injuries have been reported.
Caller said that Anti-fascist activists are now headed to a location believed to be the Nazis headquarters.
