The New York Times and numerous other mainstream media outlets have been covering the death sentence handed down to the arsonist who killed five fire fighters here in Southern California. The man wasn't mentally insane, knew what he was doing, and deliberately set dozens of fires, only 11 of which he admits committing.

Fire fighters are one of the few remaining legitimate groups of heros in our nation, putting themselves on the line to protect people's homes and our nation's recreation infrastructure according to national and State policies which admittedly may not be entirely healthy for forests, but these men and women ARE FUCKING HEROS! far and beyond any other governmental agency anywhere in our country.

Along comes this scumbag and kills five of our nation's true heros.

This should be a wake-up call for Earth Liberation Front and Animal Liberation Front activists who consider arson as an economic tools to stall the further destruction of our nation's wild places. Fire is a double-edged tool that cuts both ways. It is an enemy of mankind as well as our friend, and ELF / ALF arsonists should consider fully the consequences of arson despite how carefully set or designed they are.

Though a logging truck may ache to be set fire to or a mink farm's sheds cry out to be burned to the ground, the nation's heros who are called upon to put out your fires are putting their lives on the line because of you.

Historically ALF / ELF arsonists have never harmed a single human however every time there is a fire fighter call-out, their actions are putting good people in harm's way. End up killing our nation's heros and you deserve to die like this scumbag pile of shit does.
