Next Tuesday, May 26, 2009, the Humanist Association at Cal State L.A. will present a film, "Palestine: Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land," from 6:15 to 8:30, to be followed by an informal discussion.
The film will be screened in the San Gabriel Room (313), on the 3rd floor of the University-Student Union, in the northwest corner of the campus.
The film examines media coverage of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and asks whether bias shapes our perception of the issues involved in this struggle. The screening is sponsored by the Humanist Association at Cal State Los Angeles, and will be hosted by university staff worker Dar Diaz.
