Many economists do not consider the environment but are caught in growth mythology.

Most of what Wall Street does has no legitimacy. Wall Street fuels financial bubbles and holds Main Street hostage to usurious interest rates. Wall Street drives the economy in destructive ways.

Much of what we consume is a palliative for alienated life without community."
