The great majority of the Go Green Expo is based on venture capitalists that don't offer alternatives to an affluent lifestyle, but are actually just by-products of affluence.
With one hundred and fifty dollars for an organic designer sweater, 10K minimum install costs for solar panels through contractors who had minimal knowledge of government incentives, a go green account specialist who will not bother with any account that is less than 250K (speaker Mr. Wenot) and countless other premium priced "green" services and products. One would think that being green would mean choosing between having grocery money or taking out loans to lead a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.
The reality is, the capitalist frame of mind is what started this calamity and the poison will not serve as the medicine.
If you value your time and money and really want to connect with those who are more concerned with our planet and not their bank accounts. Save yourself some time and avoid the LA Go Green Expo and go to any of the local Earth Day events near you.
