JFAV TRIBUTE TO VETERANS FIGHTER FOR FREEDOM- JACK TEJADA

We, in the Justice for Filipino American Veterans (JFAV) now, a full pledged national organization based in Los Angeles ,salutes and pay the highest tribute to Jack Tejada. He was a tireless freedom fighter in the fullest meaning of the word.

Commander Jack Tejada is from New Jersey but he represents all the veterans in the United States wherever they maybe. He is regular lobbyist in Washington D.C

He fought for our freedom as a soldier of the Philippines and America. And did his part in winning World War II. But he did not stop there. He continued to fight for freedom and justice for the benefits and the recognition that they truly deserve and was taken away from them.

He tirelessly walked the halls of congress and fought for our freedom So that we can be truly be free. He knows that as long as we are not recognized as American veterans, as long as America conveniently forgets and refuse to recognize his service- all the accolades, the tributes the monuments and even the lump sum they will give us means nothing to him, and to us as a people.

They will be meaningless rhetoric and lacks substance. That is why like Jack Tejada we will be tireless freedom fighters for justice, recognition and equity.

We in JFAV ---will not let their efforts to be wasted and will win victory. We will continue our mission to highlight the historical contribution of the Filipino veterans and their role in winning World War II against the forces of tyranny and injustice. Injustice will not prevail!

No more excuses, Bail out the Veterans not the corporations!

To Honor Jack Tejada is to fight for Recognition, Justice and Equity!
