The President's Forum on La Raza and Racism
LONG BEACH-CA Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minuteman Project, and Ted Hayes Founder of Choose Black America will lecture and have a question and answer session on "La Raza and Racism" at the Beach Auditorium, in the University Student Union at 1:30pm. Wednesday, November 19th, 2008. The topic is to inform students and the general public on the Racist Agenda of the La Raza at the national, college, and high school level.
Jim Gilchrist, established the Minuteman Project and supports the prevention of illegal immigration across the U.S.'s southern border. Gilchrist holds a B.A. in newspaper journalism, a B.S. in business administration, and an MBA in taxation. He is a former newspaper reporter and a retired California CPA (Certified Public Accountant). Gilchrist is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and recipient of the Purple Heart award for wounds sustained while serving with an infantry unit in Vietnam, 1967 - 1969. Gilchrist advocates increased border enforcement and apprehension of illegal immigrants.
Ted Hayes founded the famous dome village in downtown Los Angeles. Hayes has been a strong advocate for homeless rights and African American civil rights. Most recently Ted Hayes has run for US Congress as the Republican Nominee in the 35th district against Maxine Waters.
