The more you buy, the better person you are, we are told. 5% of the world's population are using 25-30% of the world's energy and raw materials. Planned obsolescence is complemented by perceived obsolescence. Corporations obeying the law of profit depend on products breaking down. Nature is our partner and foundation for the future, not a free good, external or sink.
This 20-minute video shown on public access television should be shown every week. We are the ones who need to learn sustainable and subsistence economics.
