The Intelligence Report has obtained a chilling video that Robert Crooks, the leader of the nativist extremist group Mountain Minutemen, recently E-mailed to several other prominent nativist leaders, including Jim Gilchrist, co-founder of the original Minuteman Project. In the E-mail, Crooks suggests that Gilchrist is a weakling who can “Talk the Talk” but not “Walk the Walk.”

OK, I saw the video. He was alone, in the night observing illegals, and he fired a warning shot away from them, confronted them and intimidated them to stay in Mexico. Problems? No.

If there is a problem the Sheriff will take it to the DA, if the DA feels there is a case, then he will make it. Else, there is no crime. Life on the border is dangerous like the Old West. Late at night the gun is the law.

I was online around 3;00 AM, when I got a RED ALERT at 8/9/2007 3:15:38 AM Pacific Daylight Time.

I watched the video, but didn't see any reason to get excited. The local LEOs will take it for action, IF they see a need.

The less the MM "leadership" gets involved the better. It is a political and propaganda nightmare, yes, however, let the Public Affairs people handle it.

Looking at the laws and the US Constituiton, I commend Capt. Crooks for his prompt actions to repel the invaders attacking the USA during war time.
