We are currently leafletting 365 cities for single payer legislation in California. It passed last year but the governor vetoed it. It should pass this year with enough votes to override the veto, but only if you help with leafletting of Sicko at movie theaters throughout the state as well as letters to your representatives. What about hitting up the lines at the county clinics and other free clinics in the morning, when people line up? You can get a lot of signatures, and maybe some folks would show up for the demo if they're near downtown.
