12:10 pm anti-immigrant minutemen holding rally downtown now

by LA-IMC Monday, Mar. 26, 2007 at 4:15 PM

Caller at Olympic & Broadway reports about 150 anti-immigrant minutemen there now planning to march sometime soon. Caller estimates about 40 counter protesters there who plan to dog the march.

(No word as to if protesters at federal building are aware of the anti-immigrants at Broadway and Olympic)

News report

by Observer Monday, Mar. 26, 2007 at 10:05 PM

Just watched an NBC news report about the marches in Downtown today.

Numbers were low on both sides (according to news).

Several different pro-immigration events/rallys happening at same time.

Since we seem to be winning & amnesty looks quite possible, the stratedgy seems to involve tactics aimed @ the goverment/elected officials, as well as letter writing campaigns, phone calls, etc.

In my humble opinion, we should not back off just because victory is on the horizon. We need to continue to hit hard & take to the streets in the enormous numbers we have shown before. That seemed to scare the shit outta 'em!

The goverment/people know our numbers & our gift of organizing mass numbers of people in short periods of time, & we should continue to take to the streets.

The Minutemen/SOS are resorting to tactics that are not only illegal, but are aggressive & violent. This shows frustration, immaturity, & lack of intelligence. No one lets us know more about whether or not we are making progress than the Minutemen/SOS themselves!

Keep up the fight comrades! It wont be long...
