Phone Company Double Speak Allows Surveillance

by Bill Gallagher Hachita NM Wednesday, Mar. 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM

department of homeland security is simply the melding of corrupt mexican/south american law enforcement with the bush drone/surveillance machine; its agents on the payroll around the country are putting spy devices on their neighbors for a few federal reserve dollars and using this as rationale to declare they are WORKING for the government and are not a white welfare state....nm governor cooperating with this byzantine corruption, using it to harass political opponents and activists, and to hide identities of people for various reasons....

received from my phone company last week (Valley Telecommunications, Willcox AZ)

Valley Telecom Group is cntantly working to bring you the latest technology. Valley Telecom Group Companies occasionally use your CUSTOMER PROPRIETARY NETWORK INFORMATION to inform you about innovative communication services, new technology offerings, or package discounts (I have never received any of these).

WHAT ACTION ON MY PART IS NECESSARY TO SHOW CONSENT? No action on your part is necessary. If you have do not contact us within 30 days of receipt of this notice, and indicate that we may not use the information, we may use it in the described manner.

IF I CONSENT CAN I CHANGE MY MIND? Your decision is valid until you contact us to revoke your approval or denial. Any denial or withdrawal of consent on your part will not affect the provision of any services we provide you...there is no cost to opt out...

VTC (Valley Telecommunications, 1800-421-5711. 752 E. Maley, Willcox, AZ 85643)

----------------------------------------

SENT TO VTC TODAY:

I asked to be assured that I had successfully -- opted out -- of the CPNI program and have not heard back from vtc. I also wrote that I had never consented to anything like this, and never would, period.

I am reporting this nationwide as a news item, and I would like someone there to write to me via email concerning this breach of privacy and byzantine corruption.

I thought this was new mexico, not mexico.

This program seems as if it is a cover-up, especially to me, a politically active person whose old email address, though cancelled at vtc, was kept active by vtc for some months afterward (billder @ vtc.net), until by accident I discovered activity there, and contacted VTC a second time to have it cancelled.

I believe that address was used by some people in NM government to hide my identity, and though un-named in this missive, their identities will be made public via open-posting news shortly.
