Oasis TV Announces New Chairman

Banker Takes Over Board Leadership of

“Body-Mind-Spirit” Programmer

Los Angeles, Calif. – Feb. 1, 2007 – Oasis TV, a cable channel and Internet TV provider of holistic news, information and entertainment encompassing the popular Body-Mind-Spirit lifestyle, today announced the appointment of investment banker and social activist Azim Khamisa as Chairman. He was recruited by Robert Schnitzer, its founder and former chairman, who will remain as President/CEO and board director.

Khamisa has more than 35 years experience in investment banking (domestic and international) in corporate and real estate sectors. Born in Kenya and educated the United Kingdom, Khamisa is a multi-lingual naturalized U.S. citizen and has resided in the United States since 1974.

For his work promoting non-violence, Khamisa received the Special Community Service Award from President Clinton and he won the 2003 California Peace Prize. In 2004, Khamisa participated with the Dalai Lama and ten others in the Synthesis Dialogues, hosted by Pope John Paul II. Khamisa also runs the Tariq Khamisa Foundation (TKF.org) providing workshops on non-violence to tens of thousands of school children throughout the United States.

“Khamisa’s prior experience in finance and his personal mission to promote world peace is the perfect combination to raise Oasis TV to the next level,” said Oasis TV’s Schnitzer, adding “If he didn’t exist, we’d have to invent him!”

As chairman of the cable net’s owner, OTV Media Group, Inc., Khamisa will focus his diverse skills on raising expansion capital, increasing distribution, creating strategic alliances and launching new business lines.

“Oasis TV, which promotes world peace and non-religious spirituality, dovetails perfectly with my personal mission to teach the lessons of forgiveness,” said Khamisa. “Oasis TV is ready to monetize its extensive programming assets and deliver its branded services to every video platform in the world. I am eager to take on these exciting challenges.”
