I just received an email from Whole Foods promisign to rid their shelves of all POM Wonderful products by April 1, 2007 unless POM stops fundign animal tests!

In a reprinted article attached to the email, there was a reference to "McCarthyist" tactics in prosecuting any available activists over direct action campaigns.

With POM admitting that no employyess have been harmed or even received property destruction-and with both Welch's and Ocean Spray having given up vivisection under pressure, POM is just too "radioactive" right now for some chains to continue to handle.

Health food and "yuppie natural" food chains have been put on notice-they must choose betwen POM and their vegetarian/vegan customers. As vegetrains and vegans are such a large part of the "natural food" market, it seems that POM stands to lose a lot of distributorships unless they STOP TORTURING ANIMALS!
