On Saturday, July 8, all progressives are encouraged to join pro-immigrant organizations, including the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition, at a counter demonstration against the racist, anti-immigrant Minuteman Project and other neo-fascist groups. Minutemen members and supporters will be marching through Hollywood that day in a so-called "United States of America March." They claim to be celebrating the people of the United States, including "legal immigrants," but their underlying racism against all immigrants is unmistakable. This is the culmination of a week of anti-immigrant actions by the Minutemen. They are marching in July 4 parades in Pacific Palisades and Lake Forest before their march in Hollywood. Join us this Saturday to expose them as the racists they really are.

These groups are directly aligned with white supremacist and Nazi organizations. Their rallies only target Latino immigrants. They praise "the rule of law" while completely ignoring the underlying causes for migration - imperialist wars and racist U.S. economic policies.

A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition and many others will gather at the corner of Hollywood and Argyle to protest the racist Minutemen and say "No Human Being is Illegal!" We will also pass out informational flyers urging people to join the counter protest and oppose anti-immigrant racism and bigotry. Bring banners and signs to show your support for immigrant rights.

Now is the time for everyone to stand up for full equality, legalization and amnesty for undocumented workers. No to racism and the Minutemen! No to a guest worker program! The struggle for justice has no borders!
