Friends of the Farm Parade in Venice

VENICE BEACH, Saturday 24, 2006 - Farmers and their friends paraded down the Venice Beach Boardwalk today to let people know that despite their eviction last week from their farm they are not giving up the fight to save the farm and return to their farm.

The parade was peaceful and well received by the crowds on the boardwalk. There was no police interference. Car traffic management and security was provided by Copwatch and the Brown Berets Chapter of Watsonville, California.
