Annenberg Foundation Offers To Purchase Property
LOS ANGELES, June 7, 2006 – Encampment looking to offer a peaceful resolution if developer and city council will come to the table in negotiating the final sale.
“The Annenberg Foundation is in this game, and has been working very hard with Ralph Horowitz to find resolution and we very much hope that a resolution will be found. We’ve got the funding for it, and we’ve already made an offer to Mr. Horowitz to purchase this property.” states Adolpho Nodal, Project General Manager for Not A Cornfield, A Project of the Annenberg Foundation. This offer is the cornerstone of The Annenberg Foundation’s intention towards green environmental rejuvenation of South Central L.A.
