Do you remember the protest a year ago in garden grove, jim gilchrist came to town to rally support? an angry minuteman drove his mini-van thru a crowd of protestors leaving 2 injured on the ground? several people were brutally and violenatlly rounded up and arrested for allegedly assaulting police officers w/ deadly weapons of water bottles and alumnim cans?

HERE is the follow up, almost one year later. Kurt Isobe, Japanse American 19 year old peaceful dissenter of racist scapegoating of all peoples, is refusing to accept these charges of any crimes on that day or otherwise, and begins trial TOMORROW, following up on TUES. and so on.

they finished jury selection today. they start the trial tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. sharp. please make your best effort to attend. when you are there, keep in mind the members of jury may be on break inside and outside in the immediate area, taking a cigarette break, making a phone call, going to the bathroom, whatever it is you may be doing at the break (other than talking with Kurt or his other supporters), they may be doing it. be aware of your words and actions & take care to not give the jury any false cause for character assasination and so on.

after tomorrow, they return to court on Tuesday, May 23rd at 9:00 a.m. they expect the trial to last about 7 days. that is our timeline for now.
