LOS ANGELES, March 17, 2006 - Farmers and their supporters addressed Friday’s session of the Los Angeles City Council during the public comment section as they have been doing every Friday for the past three years. Yet today was different for the issue of the South Central Farm was added as an agenda item on today’s council’s session. Unfortunately the issue was discussed in closed session and the record of that session will not be made public. Still, the farmers and their supporters see some progress that the City Council is at least discussing the issue.
