NOT SO CURIOUS GEORGE[D]

Not-so-curious George has got a problem

But nobody wants to make a great big fuss

‘Cause everybody just seem to love him

Don’t you think that’s a little curious

A not-so-curious chimpanzee one morning

put down his cymbals and his cap

Rove around the neighborhood for good times

And found himself a big White House for that

Soon he had friends to play with

He could really sing and dance

But they couldn’t bear to tell him

Not-so-curious George forgot his pants



There’s the girl who wants to be called Doctor

And the boys who like to play with guns

A kid who road a coat tail like a pony

And liked to pull off a bug’s legs just for fun

Not-so-curious George led their adventure

And they followed without fear

Even though the woods were dark and scare-y

At least they wouldn’t have to see his rear

Then not-so-curious George, he got tired

sat down on nettles with his bum

realized in that aweful moment

that he had no pants on.

He wished then for the little drum he sat on

He wished for his cymbals and his cap

And so he left to return to biz-ness

Though not-so George was not-so-good at that
