DRIVE N RUSH HOUR 3/20
by Traffic Grid Tuesday, Feb. 07, 2006 at 7:19 PM
Suppose on the anniversary of the start of Iraq war, Monday March 20 every anti-war activist drove a car or rode a bike on streets and freeways entering downtown Los Angels and every other major U. S. city, causing grid lock so that everyone working there was an hour or so late for work. A comminunique is released later that the grid lock was a protest to business-as-usual while the slaughter in Iraq continues another year.
That would be a message.
It will just piss people off. And do nothing to stop the war or bring down Bush. A better action would be for everyone to call in sick.
A general strike would be a much better way to "send a message" to the man.
And its very easy to do, anyone and everyone can do it!
Call in sick! Don't go to work! Don't go to school!
GENERAL STRIKE MARCH 20, 2006 TO END THE WAR IN IRAQ
Obviously Traffic Grid has never drive downtown at rush hour before.
