My goal is the search for truth...let us come together in hopes for finding some reliable sources.....
I have just become active in this forum and would like to bring up an important issue...
What makes a website reliable and truthful??
I personally use the "Scholar" option in Google (if you don't see it on the main page, click "More") as well as some other scholarly search engines (these searches only bring up articles written by credible journalism agencies, , and also conduct research through my school library (UCLA) which contains researchs, articles, and documents done by UCLA Phd's as well as other credible universities.
In the few days that I have become active in this forum, I have seen many links to theories about various subjects, but what makes these links credible? They can easily be propaganda based sites or conspiricy theorists, etc., or they can actually contain some truth to them.
My point of this article is to start a discussion on what makes websites credible or what different avenues of credible search may exist.
I am nor a Democrat nor a Republican because I don't trust any politicians. I am a realist that only seeks for TRUTH.
