Minuteman Founder Jim Gilchrist to Debate Campbell Live on KFI’s John

and

Ken Show



Lake Forest, CA — On the eve of the special election to fill the

vacancy

in the 48th Congressional District, popular KFI radio talk show hosts,

John and Ken, will host and moderate a debate between Minuteman Founder

Jim Gilchrist, and politician John Campbell.

The debate will take place at the Ayres Hotel Laguna Woods, located at

24341 El Toro Rd, in Laguna Woods from 5:00PM to 6:00PM on Monday

October

3, 2005. It will be aired live as part of the John and Ken Show, who

will

be broadcasting their program from that location on the KFI640 between

3:00PM and 7:00PM. The debate will take place before a live audience.

Admission is free. The Special Election to fill Rep. Christopher Cox

seat

will be held the will be held on the following day, Tuesday, October 4.

“I’m very pleased that the voters of the 48th District will be able to

see

and hear the real choice they have in this election on the issues that

matter to them, including immigration reform, border security, jobs and

taxes,” said Gilchrist, 56, a retired accountant who received a Purple

Heart as a Marine in Vietnam. “I hope every voter in this District will

have a chance to see and/or hear this debate,” added Gilchrist. “Then

they

will have an opportunity to see for themselves their choice between a

candidate who has demonstrated effective action and leadership on

behalf

of the people and one who straddles the fence and waffles on the

issues.”
