The SOSMM et al have posted info at their forums and made public announcements that their groups are splintered.

But, is this really the case? Or are they trying to create a distraction?

It seems that they are not well organized and serendipitously stumbled on to a useful tactic.

Remember that Gilchrist and Chase both served in Nam and may be using similar tactics employed in that war.

One tactic is distributing false information as to their location and planned movements.

Another is striking at different fronts.
