The Battle for Los Angeles
SaveOurState.org demands removal of seditious monument language
July 31st, 2005
(Baldwin Park, CA) - SaveOurState.org demands that the city of Baldwin Park immediately remove seditious anti-American language (pictures below) from the “Danzas Indigenas” monument located at the Baldwin Park Commuter Rail Station. Taxpayer funded and situated on public land, the monument promotes the radical and militant belief in the “reconquista of Aztlan.” One passage on the monument laments the presence of whites in America by stating, “It was better before they came.” The most offensive passage is a quote from Gloria Anzaldua, which reads:
“This land was Mexican once,
was Indian always
and is,
And will be again.”
Californians are tired of radical revisionist history and militant separatist rhetoric calling for the return of the Southwestern United States to Mexico as proclaimed by radical organizations like Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA). SaveOurState.org proudly stands in opposition to this propaganda.
Californians are tired of watching their communities turn into Third World cesspools as a result of a massive invasion of illegal aliens. Joseph Turner, Executive Director of SaveOurState.org responds:
“This divisive monument is funded by our tax dollars and we will not tolerate its anti-American message. This is not art. This is not freedom of expression. This is government-sanctioned sedition. This is our land. This is our fight.”
We call upon the city of Baldwin Park to voluntarily remove these offensive passages. This will clearly demonstrate their commitment to America and their disapproval of treasonous sentiments. If this situation is not remedied, SaveOurState.org will take additional steps to ensure that the passages are removed.
The Baldwin Park Commuter Rail Station is located at:
3875 Downing Ave.
Baldwin Park, California 91706
At the intersection of Ramona Blvd. and Downing
Here is a better plan of action for the S.O.S. to consider:
http://la.indymedia.org/news/2005/07/132636.php
We are getting tired of driving to BP, to watch you and your little group of racists wave flags and demonstrate your ignorance of history, politics and ethnicities. Follow the above plan if you really mean action.
I am offended by the inscriptions on the monument.
I have a right to express my feelings. If the monument contained a swaztika, it would offend some, and please others. Same, if there were a Star of David, Confederate flag, burning cross, Frito Bandidto, Speedy Gonzalez, or a noose with a dead man in a sombrero.
But, my point is, that as I see the inscriptions on the monument, it offends me personally. The monument is OK, but the wording, no.
How do you feel about it?
JULY 31??? PERFECT!!!
That's the day we had scheduled to head over to Joe Turner's house and protest his offensive presence in our community. Then we're heading over to his church. Then his wife's job. The local deli. Joe's videostore. Joe's happy-ending massage therapist. You get the picture. We're going to talk to neighbors, co-workers, fellow churchies. We're going to flyer his community. We're going to get the word out just how bad this chump is stinking up the neighborhood, and July 31st will be the perfect day to kick off our campaign.
So, pass the word on: JULY 31--PAR-TAY AT JOE MAMA'S HOUSE!!! I'll bring the horchata. Who's got the chips? Salsa? Some guacamole? We're gonna be grilling up some bomb tacos on Joe's front lawn. Hey Joe, you prefer carne asada or carnitas? Oh, never mind, I know what you need--some CESOS!!!
Checked the SOS site - ther e seems to be no public announcement of any kind...
I don't think so.
Won't see the frat boys, I think.
the hit count isn't even on the chart anymore
A short summary of the activist dossier on SOS and Turner could be produced and published.
I like the idea of having a booklet that covers all the known SOSMM / National Vanguard / Storm Front individuals, complete with photographs so that they can be positively identified to the police if and when needed, but I'd hope that any such effort didn't include personal, private information without their permission.
