This boy did something that was wrong and died as a result of his poor judgement. His family needs to open their eyes and see that he caused this, not the LA police department. He made the decision to get in this stoelen vehicle and he made the decision to ram in to the police and their vehicles. The LAPD reacted to a dangerous situation and had know way of knowing the age of the person in the stolen vehicle. Law enforcement officers are here to provide all of us a safe living environment free from criminals. This boy, regardless of his age was a criminal. Statistics will show that boys like him go on to commit much bigger and more violent crimes. The men hired to protect tax paying citizens have families and should be allowed to do whatever it takes to save themselves, their families and tax paying, hard working citizens in this community.
what the hell are you talking about?!?!?! It was Devin's fault that he was shot down??!? So you mean the police should be aloud to kill people in non-life threatening situations, huh?!? Last time I checked, the PD's job was to try and diffuse situations as much as possible, and arrest people so that judges and juries may decide their fates (which is fucked up enough in this country already). They are flat out not supposed to shoot at people who are not threatening their lives! They are supposed to "protect" human lives, not property, which seems to more important to them.
In addition, correct me if I'm wrong, but is execution the punishment for stealing a car nowadays? Seems like the powers that be want us to believe that there is nothing wrong with this idea, but we must resist the media campaign that will argue this evil notion. No matter how old you are, child or adult, you do not deserve to die for joyriding. I would be disgusted if this happened to a 50 year old man as well. It's a fact that human life as become less important than material goods in this country, at least to the powers that be. We must fight together to prove that bullshit idea wrong!
This Saturday, Feb. 26, come show your support for Devin Brown at 10am, starting at 3800 Crenshaw, outside of the LA Sentinel Newspaper. Then march to Leimert Park and show the LAPD we will live in fear of their terror! We demand justice!!
Face it, had the darkling backed over the cop and killed him, who would've cared?
NO ONE.
Where were all these concerned folks when the kid's father died?
Sorry "activists." please put away the megaphone.
Negro Whine doesn't go well with any meal. Never did.
