Rice again lies about 'UN mandate' for US war in Iraq

by Foreign Press Foundation Tuesday, Feb. 01, 2005 at 12:42 PM
The Netherlands

Like all people in the US 'Coalition of the Killing', we in the Netherlands also have been made guilty* - by our collaborating industry and it's government - of the present US-zionist war crimes in Afganistan and Iraq.

MORE LIES by RICE

by Henk Ruyssenaars

Monday - Jan 31 - 2005 - The following is an excerpt from the transcript of the program "Fox News Sunday". This propaganda-session with the new US State Secretary - Condoleezza Rice - concerning the illegal election* and the illegal US's war in Iraq,* - took place yesterday, Jan. 30, 2005.

The 'link' and the original text below, show a transcript full of wishful thinking, sheer lies and propaganda on the IQ-level of a baboon. 'No wonder', well known american Gore Vidal reflected on this; on Bush and the behaviour of the neocons - given the present abominable 'State of the Union':

"Symbolically, it's interesting that regions of the US are rejecting Darwin and evolution. I can see why: We have a substantial minority in the US that hasn't advanced much beyond the baboon. These ignorant folk are full of hatred, which is why they are currently rejecting evolution and going back to the stone age with torture, killing innocent people, attacking countries that have done us no harm. This is insupportable." [end quote Vidal]

This globally famous american writer has during the past decade for 99% only been published abroad, which tells the world a lot about the 'Freedom of the Press' in the United States itself.

FOX 'NEWS' is among intellectuals and normal thinking people in the US as well as in the rest of the world, known to be one of the foulest sources of US propaganda and vile 'spin' in the US's broadcasting history. And also this transcript concerning Rice, again is a hair-raising example of the drivel and pertinent lies being permanently spread by FOX's so called 'editors' and their media-ilk the 'spinmeisters' - as a dark brown 'mental manure' via the airwaves. The selection of the Kennedy-quote by Wallace is symptomatic of the bias:

Quote - transcript: "CHRIS WALLACE, FOX NEWS: Joining us now to give us her assessment of today's events, what it means for Iraq and the U.S., is the new secretary of state, Condoleezza Rice.

WALLACE: Ted Kennedy made a speech this week in which he compared the situation in Iraq to Vietnam. He said that we're in a quagmire. He said that we're losing the battle for the hearts and minds of the Iraqis. He said that we need to begin pulling out U.S. troops.

[HR - Kennedy's remarks - Url.: http://tinyurl.com/5qszo]

And then he said the following. I'd like you to listen, if you would, please. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

U.S. SENATOR EDWARD KENNEDY (D-MA): The U.S. military presence has become part of the problem, not part of the solution. (END VIDEO CLIP)

WALLACE: Secretary Rice, given especially the events of today, what do you think of Ted Kennedy's remarks?

RICE: Well, American and other coalition forces are there under U.N. mandate because the Iraqis believe that they're needed. The Iraqis are not yet capable of securing themselves. [Against foreign invaders ? - HR]

What we're seeing today is what the Iraqis want their future to be. They want it to be one based on democracy, on the vote, not on the gun." [end quote]

It is quite clear that the american neocon government and again this despicable 'Secretary of State' - like the former one, Colin Powell, keeps lying about the non-existing "UN mandate", while the United Nations Secretary General - Kofi Annan - has confirmed that there is no UN madate and that the war in Iraq is illegal.*

He has told the BBC the US-led invasion of Iraq was ''an illegal act that contravened the UN charter.''

Annan said: 'the decision to take action in Iraq should have been made by the Security Council, not unilaterally'.

And, by the way: only Congress in the US can declare war: NOT the president.

Confirming that the US and it's bribed, bullied and blackmailed Quisling-'allies' all breach the Charter of the United Nations which they have signed.

So, what can the world expect from

another lying US Secretary of State?

More US-made terror ?

it is what Bush wants

by prion Tuesday, Feb. 01, 2005 at 11:18 PM

When asked about Rice being accused of lying, Bush said he thinks she would do a good job as Sec. of State. Obviosly Bush knows she has been lying, so obviously, Bush thinks a liar would make a good sec. of state.
