Brazil is leading the UN Mission in Haiti. They have been backing the Haitian paramilitary and death squad led army in attacking supporters of Democracy and President Aristide's Lavalas Party (just a few days ago killing poor supporters of Lavalas in Bel AIr, Port-Au-Prince). We must send a message to Lula and the Brazilian Government that what Brazil is doing in Haiti is wrong! They must stop toeing the line U.S. imperialism and exploitation over Haiti. Support democracy in Haiti! Bring signs and as many people as you can get to come out.

Kevin Pina, of the Haiti Information Project (HIP), who has lived in Haiti for the last 15 years, will be present. He will be doing a speaking tour of Southern Calfiornia from Sep 15-19th (he will appear in LB,OC,and LA). Kevin Pina has appeared on Democracy Now multiple times and he broke the story of the U.S. Marine kidnapping of President Aristide in Feb of 2004.
