San Diego's Ground Zero Players call for a Cacerolazo mass street theater action Inauguration Day, January 20

The San Diego Cacerolazo will be Thurs. January 20 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at 4th and Broadway, downtown San Diego. BRING PANS AND SPOONS AND EARPLUGS!

What is a Cacerolazo? When dozens or hundreds or thousands of people get together and bang on their cacerolas (pots and pans) in collective protest against a corrupt government. It has become the symbol of Argentine popular rebellion and has now spread to other Latin American countries.
In the tradition of the Cacerolazo, we will be absolutely non-violent, loud and clearly visible, all ages friendly
There will be NO speeches, so come when you can. leave when you must.

This gathering will have ONE message: NOT MY PRESIDENT!

Ground Zero Players is the theatrical arm of Desert Waves Affinity Group, which formed at the Nevada Nuclear Weapons Test Site in the mid-80s. We have been performing on the streets of San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas and NTS since 1987.
