The Thomas Paine Project wants to link to bands, musicians and associates of the independent music community who:
OPPOSE the government's War on the Bill of Rights
OPPOSE the RAVE Act and similar Anti-Music Legislation.
OPPOSE the Government's "War on Marijuana," which is a war on our civil liberties.
OPPOSE Random Drug Testing
OPPOSE the War on the Environment.
OPPOSE the 21-Year Old Drinking Age, which is an insult to our nation's young adults -- More than 20 percent of the U.S. Soldiers killed and wounded in George Bush's War on Iraq are between the ages of 18 and 20 years old.
LET US KNOW WHO YOU ARE,

The War on Drugs is an excuse to implant military into Columbia and Panama. Look up Plan Colombia.
The wars in Central America were enabled by drug-running money. That coke you did in the 80s (if you were old enough) could have contributed to the torture of people in Central America. Look up the Bush family connections here too. Look up the Iran-Contra scandal. Look up Barry Seal.
The wars in Central Asia have been and will be funded by the sale of opium poppies turned into heroin. Afghanistan is the current world leader in poppies for heroin.
Recreational drugs, when illegal, form an underground economy, operated by organized crime, and used by countries and private individuals to launder money, to raise funds, and to control populations to conduct wars, secret and not-secret.
Look at who benefits: the wealthy, the empire builders. Look at who pays: the farmers who grow drugs, the locals who get addicted, the people in America who have to live under the thumb of local drug dealers.
The "War on Drugs" is a total failure. It's been 30 years! Why can't we kick this dirty habit?
Take a look at China, and the Opium Wars. Britain had an entire country addicted to painkillers. Britain went to war to encourage more "free trade" in opium to the addicted Chinese.

Contemplate that. War, drugs, and business... Business pressured Britain to go to war to increase the trade in drugs to addicted Chinese. The profits would go toward growing the empire.
That's your war, on drugs.
