I'm in kind of an emergency situation and need help from the L.A. conscious community.

For almost a year I've been working for a recycing company that resells used moving boxes at half the price of new boxes. It's basically professional dumpster diving...we collect what society treats as trash and we turn each reusable box into a used commodity. The business literally started on that level but now we've got a contract with the biggest recycling company in L.A. to "rescue" boxes from them, sort them in our warehouse and sell them to moving families, and shippers. After a year and half we've sold over ,000 in used cardboard boxes to people that are moving or shipping and want to save money or save trees.

The founder of the company came from the corporate world, actually he survived the "dot com" crash and made it out with enough expendable cash to start this business. So basically he's got the experience and credibility to make this into a sucessful company. Right now we are in the process of soliciting investor money...however in order to get the investment money we need help getting just a little more revenue coming in every month.

Right now there's only me and one other person running the day to day operation. I'm the general

manager/environmental coordinator, and we have a delivery driver.

We need a part time employee to do guerilla marketing so we can get just a few more orders in a week. We sell "bundles" of used boxes as moving kits, most of the time people order for delivery on the web or call in and order anywhere from -200 worth of boxes. We've sold to over 500 customers...Its not a question of whether people choose our service when they know about it, its a question of getting the word out. We're stuck at a stagnant revenue flow, we need more orders, which necessitates more exposure.

I've applied my creative/activist/protestor background by making cardboard costumes, banners, etc. We're just too busy doing the day to day business, so we need someone that can work part time and be a guerilla.

My boss loves me and respects me...but he won't hold up the business until I find the exact perfect person for

this job. I've hit up the people that I respect the most and believe in the most, all of them are psyched but

are at points in their lives where time, school, location, etc. don't permit working in L.A. 20 hours a week.

Plus the main thing my boss wants, even more so than a guerilla, is someone that is good on the phone and that can help us strengthen our relationships with realtors. We are already in a partnership with with Coldwell Banker's consierge service so they refer their clients to us. We are really close to smooth sailing where orders just come in steadily everyday. Right now we just need an extra push to get to that point.

Here's the crisis:

This is an extremely rare opportunity, for me or for anyone else. This company is going to take off and

whoever jumps on now is going to go with it. I got the job because my boss put an ad on craigslist, since then i've become good friends with him and I'm pretty much running the mechanics of the company while he meet with investors. I'm fully established here, unless I something happens to me, I'll be apart of this company forever. That's a very serious fact...but even more serious is the fact that if I don't get someone with

consciousness to fill this position...I'll be stuck with a co-worker that's some right-wing, luke warm,

patriotic, fast food eating, suv driving scum fuck that just so happens to be good at talking on the phone. My

boss respects consciousness, with pride he's told investors that i was a tree-sitter, but the bottom-line for

him is that he's a business owner and he wants to make money...empowerment is not a spiritual thing for

him...its business. I can't stop him from highering someone that's going to kill my spirit working with them knowing that all their empowerment by this company will go to fast food, cable tv, dvds, jet-skis, etc.

I need to get someone involved in this company that I can relate to and whose intentions i trust...Sadly i've

found since i've been working here and taking survey of the people in my life...I can't say i know that many

people that wouldn't fuck it up. That fear has kept me from talking about my job much to anyone...but now I

don't have a choice...I'm sending the word out far and wide...its a matter of the life or death of my spirit.

This has already happened twice...The original delivery driver that worked here when i got the job was an awesome conscious radical hip-hop free-styler...he had shit come up and had to leave. I racked my brain trying to think of who could possibly replace him that i know, but so often the people i know are disorganized,

impoverished, undisciplined,and lazy...so i couldn't just produce a solid driver with their own reliable van.

So my fear came true, my boss just hired someone off craigslist, luckily i can somewhat relate to him, we get

along and whatnot, he's decent enough and it could be WAY worse...but he his not conscious at all, cares not for the earth, nor really anything else. I can't accept this, I'm in a position to divert the systems blood

money toward the empowerment of myself and other people...i obviously want that empowerment to serve mother earth...

Eventually we'll be at the point where we're highering tons of people...I'll obviously be hiring lots of

people, and the standards and expectations will be far more flexible at that point. The crisis of right now is

that whoever gets in on this at this point in the development of the company will be working along side the "CEO" (hiss all you want) and me. As opposed to getting hired a year from now and be working under a standardized hierarchy of store supervisors and managers (we're working with our board of advisors who are former franchisors and they'll be in charge of turning this concept into a "play-it-again" sports type of thing. The obvious implication is that once this thing goes from our one warehouse in the ghetto, to having franchises...there will be tons of employees...and my friends will have a much harder time distinguishing themselves out of the masses of random people working for the company...)

My boss is easy to please and is totally supportive, flexible. etc. He wants my band to succeed, he gives me days off for shows, we cover each other. He gave me a company cell phone, when my car got smashed he gave me the company van to drive, what's his is mine, all he cares about it that i care about the company and add value to it. Its really an awesome anarchic, organic dynamic. He used to be a punk in the 80s, he's only 34. He's totally down to earth and WANTS me to have a synergetic partner that works part time and kicks ass. But he can't afford to wait for me to find the perfect person by my standards..

After I post this info...lots of people will know about it...at the very least until we do actually grow to

the point where we are hiring more people for standardized positions,...for anyone that's interested in this but can't commit right now....you can make money through the company through our "coupon referal program."

Basically i can give you a stack of coupon cards that all have a code number printed on them...If you post the

coupon card on a city college bulletin board, leave a stack at a coffee shop, etc. whenever someone takes the card and places an order from us they have to tell us the code number on the card to get their "5 free boxes" if its your code that they use...we'll give you 75% of the money from the first order you bring in ...and 25% after that. So basically anyone that wants to spread these cards around you can contact me and i'll hook you up...no guarantees...but better odds than the lottery and its free. It really up to you it, if you are smart and get these cards inside real estate offices, maybe your family member is a mover, etc....just be strategic.

My boss said, its a race...either he's going to get someone or I have to...again my boss wants me to work synergetically with, and make a personal investment in someone to help me do what i already do...i'm either gonna be forced to accept some misogynist prick co-worker from mainstream society that happens to have employable skills...or i'll have a true ally/comrade to push this opportunity to the max. I tried to engineer my top choice people, they all can't do it, so please someone come forward and surprise me...!!!!



The clock is ticking...the best thing that can happen right now is for whoever comes across this message and feels that they could add something to the company on any level be it you've got experience telemarketing, driving trucks, you know someone that owns a moving company, you know a professor at your college that would do a case study on this or allow me to come into a class and speak about eco-business, whatever it is. please call me immediately. I have to prove to my boss that the "movement" that i came from, can supply this company with a level of sophistication, skill development, intelligence, passion, and consciousness that far surpasses

the average mainstream sheep. I've proven these things to him about myself, but he's not convinced that i can produce others like me...whether or not you can actually work right now...it matters more that he knows that "my people" are out there. So please, even as a favor to me as a comrade....call me and i'll give you the
