What's happening at indymedia? There's no reports about the recent raids against other IMC's and taking Hard Drives, an attack on the indymedia press. I'd like to hear what the state of LA indymedia is, because there hasn't been much information on the front page. Please let us know if this group and webpage are no longer viable.
The FBI has seized Indymedia hard drives from a server in the UK. This shut down many IMC sites hosted on that server.

Please spread the word that the IMC network is very much under attack and needs all the help it can get.
The IMC network has been invaluable to the anti-war movement, anti-globalism and many other causes. That is why the FBI is doing this, no doubt.
If on line harassment isn't effective they are compelled to act physically, exposing themselves to legal profile.
Other methods or network solutions can be adapted if we are serious about mobilization under attack. This kind of stuff is what pisses people off and confirms the real nature of the threat.
We are not irrelevant. Ha.
Eventually, I suspect that the network will start to become a bit more like a cacheing proxy server of sorts.
Freenet is one example, but one that's pretty hard to learn and use.
Each IMC could be designed to be able to mirror another IMC on another server. That way, to shut down any single site would require at least two subpoenas. If they are in different countries, then it would require even more work.
we need multiple mirrors and server clouds
IMC needs mirrors and serve clouds
