On May 29th of this year a group of Panthers met to discuss the issues of our communities on a national and global perspective. From this meeting the National Alliance of Black Panthers was formed. The organization is focused on uniting activist in street level community action. One of the initiavtives is the Panther YOuth Brigade which targets youth between the ages of 12 and 18. The program teaches youth survial skills, anger management and goal setting.

In the 21st Century this beast has changed and so must we who call ourselves revolutionaries. Just as there is no name on a bullit so there is no color to oppression and hate. Color is a tool for division used to keep the oppressed looking the other way. If you can handle the spirit of the Black Panther come on board with us.

The National Alliance of Black Panthers is for all people. A national conference will be held in February of 2005 for all members. This conference will feature workshops on organizing skills, activism and other subjects. We must work together in order to implement social change.

A chapter in LA would mean coming together with others of like mind under the umbrella of the National Alliance of Black Panthers. We have information on how to get your hcapter started and suggestions for promoting change in your community. Email us today and join our Panther FAmily! Everyone Welcome!
