150 - 200 people gathered at Wilshire Blvd and Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica Thursday evening to honor all those who have lost their lives in the war in Iraq. Many familiar songs, America the Beautiful, Amazing Grace, We Shall Overcome, This Land is Your Land, and others were sung; a prayer was given; names of soldiers were read. Sadness and hope were shared.
