Bob Avakian recently did an interview with jornalist Michael Slate, contributing writer to the Revolutionary Worker. The first segment will be broadcast Sept 7, Tuesday, at 5:00 PM on KPFK, 90.7 FM.

Bob Avakian, Chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party, will be speaking directly to the elections and the various lines that justify supporting the Democrats. This is especially timely in light of the broad resistance to Bush and everything he represents that we saw last week in New York.

Bob Avakian can also be seen on the recently-released DVD, "REVOLUTION: Why it's Necessary, Why it's Possible and What it's All About."

Probably KPFK was on the scene to cover some union-busting drive carried out by management at a local mental hospital and while there they decided to humor one of the patients, Mr. Avakian, who demanded that he be interviewed.

Is it me, or is it funny how KPFK shrinks from any truly radical dialogue, but allows old dinosaurs like bob avakian and his footsoldier michael slate to hawk stale RCP papers over their airwaves. Tell bob that if revolutions requires sitting through an 11 hour long indoctrination DVD, then we may as well stand in some government bureau's lines. At least there is free coffee and mints, and that sort of shit. Also, maybe it's just me, but who the hell 'follows' anyone? Fuck being a footsoldier/puppet for any cause, individual, or party. Autonomy or nothing at all.

Shove the DVD up your ass.

You should take your own advice. The only way you'll ever get even an inkling of the understanding that Bob Avakian imparts is if you shove the DVD's up your ass. Even then all that would make you is a bigger asshole.
