Practicing censorship?
As a delegate to the National Education Convention, I was able to see the movie "Fahrenheit 9/11' with about 8,000 other teachers, and after taking my wife to see it at Edward's Theaters in West Covina, I am convinced that 10-15 minutes was edited from the original.
The beginning of the movie should have started with Michael Moore's intro to the theme and how Flint, Michigan was so prominent. At Edward's, the beginning started with the Florida election and TV projections. This was not the only thing missing. Some of the graphic parts, although "gory,' were also missing.
Perhaps management did that to fit a time frame and thus make it more profitable. The trouble with that is, some of the message was lost. Part of the message was that the media controls what we see and hear. Apparently that part of the movie was accurate but was censored to minimize damage to the media. Whatever readers' feelings on this, it does make you think!

I must have seen a cut version of the movie, because the one I saw started with the elections as well. This was at the Alhambra Edwards theater.
Time to ask for answers.
I'm not sure who to contact about this, but here's an address to the corporation that operates the theaters:
Regal Entertainment Group
7132 Regal Lane
Knoxville, TN 37918
And here's a web page for comments:

Not sure about the censoring that the postee refers to above. The version most of my friend's saw starts with the 2000 election.
This sounds like a bogus rumour. But the person above who tries to front the "liar" argument is pathetic.
Bitch-ass conservatives can't handle the truth about their cokehead, lying-ass president, who's gonna get
kicked the f#4k outta the white house come November.

So Dixiecrats are racist. What else is new?
A lot of white Southerners are racist. A lot of white people are racist. But, that's reality. You've got a bunch of racists in power, so you choose the one with policies and politics that help you the most.
The GOP is consistently more biased against minorities in legislation and action than the Democrats. It's basically as simple as that.
Point in fact: that is how democracy works -- you get the votes of the people you support.
