This upcoming Total Liberation Tour is a total sham. On the surface, it appears to be positive. But the organizers haven't done a good job of keeping their fundamentalism secret.

While proclaiming to be in search of liberation for all life, its become apparent that liberation is reserved solely for heterosexuals. If you'll visit the militant Islamic group that some of the organizers are involved in (www.taliyah.org), you'll see that they use nature as grounds for a case against homosexuality (http://taliyah.org/articles/case.shtml).

These homophobic resentments are echoed in the forum on the Total Liberation website (www.total-liberation.com).

Furthermore, the predominantly hardcore music lineup reflects this type of tough-guy hardline rhetoric. Anti-abortion activists are common in the straight edge vegan hardcore scene.

This whole fucking thing is a total waste of time for those of who seek REAL liberation and freedom for us all. This tour will use a disguise of anarchism to promote itself, BUT THERE IS NOTHING ANARCHIST ABOUT HETEROSEXISM!

The organizers of the tour are beginning to insist that Tali'yah is unrelated to the Total Liberation Tour.

If this show is not canceled, then I expect everyone who goes to openly challenge the homophobic bullshit behind this morally pure and fundamentalist front.
