Five Thousand? I don't think so... There were maybe 2000...I was there. I think it's time for the LA movement to stop living in denial and reflect. Why are people NOT participating? Could it be that they have an issue with the organizers -- are they alienating the people OR are people too busy dealing with the day-to-day issues of survival? Give it some thought before you organize the next march. It’s my opinion that the thousands of dollars ANSWER spent on this march would have made a more positive impact as a donation to a needy community organization. I think its time to reevaluate methods...can we afford to waste $$$ on public displays OR should we be spending more time and $$$ in our local communities educating people.
