Emergency Protest on Sat. May 15th, Armed Forces Day

This Saturday, May 15th,

on the nationally observed Armed Forces Day,

ACTIVATE LA calls on all people of conscience to show support for the troops by demanding that they be brought home now!

Join us this Saturday at 12:00 noon as we rally at the Westwood federal building to

call for an end to the immoral occupation of Iraq, and to demand that the troops be

brought home.

In light of the torture and abuse of Iraqi prisoners and the growing death toll of

both American soldiers (775 dead and 1,000’s injured) and Iraqi civilians (over

10,000 dead), we must make it clear that the people of America do not support this

occupation and we will be unrelenting in our resistance to it, until it is ended.

Please bring signs and noise-makers (i.e. drums,) to get our collective messages

seen and heard.

The Westwood Federal Building is located at the intersection of Wilshire Blvd. and

Veteran Blvd in Westwood, across the street from the Veterans Cemetery.
