US-backed authorities in Haiti, not recognized by the Caribbean

Community, have begun a witch-hunt against government officials from the ousted

administration of President Jean Bertrand Aristide. Members of Airside's Lavalas

Family party say they are the target of armed groups who led the revolt, and

still roam free, as well as by the interim government of the new Prime Minister

Gerard Latortue.
