and Deniers
The dramatic events of Late March require
this emergency edition:
We just want to move from slavery
… to poverty.”
Each day the Global War of the US against peace
and hope, strikes new blows:
1. The illegal assassination of the Hamas spiritual leader, Ahmed Yassin, in a helicopter missile strike outside a Gaza City mosque by the US surrogate
Israeli-Zionist terror state.
This Bush-Sharon insanity prompted threats of unprecedented revenge by Palestinian militants
against Israel and the United States;
2. Bush pressuring the Polish president and
others not to pull their troops out of Iraq;
3. The Pakistani civil war that the US instigates
in the Tribal regions;
4. The revelations of US spying on the UN and leaders from around the world.
Send us more, send us your feelings and inside information about these evil actions and
those that the CIA is hatching..
"Latin America is already occupied militarily for quite some time... a US military occupation under
the aegis of combating drug trafficking and terrorism... the most important thing at this
moment is not only preparing ourselves, organizing
and mobilizing. Its important to prepare ourselves
for a military confrontation, and I believe the
Social Movements are quite conscious of this.
The struggle will not be peaceful, it will
not only be with stones, batons and blockades...
the struggle will surely also be one of the armed military. When the people have lost their fear , I believe there is no military force that can stop this thirst for justice, for democracy and for well-being."

DisHonorable Mention : Global Awards
The Awards for Most Torturous US Military Base:
I. Abu Gharib, western outskirts of Baghdad, Iraq: This prison is notorious for crimes committed by Saddam Hussein. The US has maintained the tradition
by turning the prison into a massive illegal
detention center for thousands of Iraqis picked
up - without evidence - as supporters of the resistance. Many investigations are on going
as Iraqis continue to report that they were
taken there accompanied by friends who later
turned up dead. Reports of torture are numerous
and some are not denied by the US Military command.

Brigadier General Mark Kimmit, deputy director
of operations in Iraq, said six US soldiers
from a military police battalion have been
accused of conspiracy, dereliction of duty, cruelty, mistreatment , indecent acts with another and assault after a criminal investigation at the prison.
A total of 17 US military personnel were suspended from duty during the investigations of the abuse
of a group of 20 prisoners.
This cover-up could backfire as some of the
US troops have told family they
plan to reveal the true natures of the incidents.
This is not the first case of prisoner abuse
in Iraq:
January 5 three soldiers were discharged for prisoner abuse at the Camp Bucca detention center in southern Iraq.
Investigations continue on the mistreatment of three Iraqis working for Reuters and one working for NBC who were detained and abused on January 2, while covering the shooting down of a US helicopter in Falluja. The grisly death toll of journalists in Iraq continues with the US murder of two Iraqi news people in March.

Above is great Colombia article comparing the disappeared of Argentina and Colombia and how in both countries most victims were disappeared by the US-backed militaries.
“In the Darien jungle near the border with Panama, Cacarica residents and members of the Justice and Peace Commission say they have been called terrorist sympathizers for refusing to allow the entry of any armed group -- a direct challenge to the government's program of encouraging civilian participation in the civil war -- and for denouncing the army's 17th Brigade for supporting paramilitary operations and allowing illegal deforestation by a powerful timber company called Maderas del Darien. They say their rice crops have been burned by paramilitaries and their farmers banned from doing business in nearby Turbo, a banana-exporting port controlled by the armed forces.
"Without Justice and Peace, we would be under paramilitary control," said a community leader who identified himself as Geronimo. "Right now, life is hard -- but at least we have our freedom."
Parallels to Argentina
Acuna said she sees several parallels between Choco province and her native Argentina during military rule.
"The Argentine military also called us subversives to control public opinion, and paramilitaries are installed in the political structure of the towns. They are mayors and judges," she said. "Do you know what it is like to live side by side with those who killed and tortured your loved ones?
"We know how difficult it is for people to break the fear," she said, "but if more of us had dared to break the silence earlier, there wouldn't have been so many disappeared in Argentina.”
Despite massisve US campaign of annihilation and dirty tricks - the guerrila survive and live to fight another year, another generation - They are holding the line for all of us to catch up - to join our struggles.
