March 20 Anti-Capitalist Contingent

by Anarcho-Communist Thursday, Mar. 18, 2004 at 9:55 AM

12 noon, Hollywood & Vine: Look for Black Flags and Banners 2:30: Anarcho-Communist meeting after march at park at Franklin and La Brea.

A group of anarcho-syndicalists and anarcho-communists in Los Angeles propose a meeting after the anti-war march on March 20 at 2:30 P.M. at the park at Franklin ave. and La Brea ave., very close to the location where the anti-war march ends. We propose to discuss the creation of an anarcho-communist federation in Southern California. We feel there is a desperate need for anarcho-communists and other like-minded anarchists to link up with one another in order to create a stronger movement that is capable of organizing direct actions, as well as providing an anarcho-communist critical analysis of capitalism that informs our involvement in popular movements for social justice. Once accomplished, we believe we will be better able to challenge capitalist and government power that creates war and injustice. We are inspired by the shut-down of the financial district of San Francisco on the day after the war in Iraq began. We are further motivated by the successes of anarcho-communist federations around the world.

Off of the sidewalks, into the streets!

In Solidarity,

L.A. Anarcho-Communist Collective

Join the March 20th Anti-Capitalist Contingent

To Abolish War, We Must Abolish Capitalism!

War is not the problem. War is only a symptom of a larger problem, that

problem being our current economic and political system. We will never

have a world without war as long as we live in a system based on borders,

competition and the quest for profits without regard for human life.

Last year, we marched through city streets & rain, held weekly vigils, lit

candles, wrote letters, obeyed their laws, their rules. We fit perfectly

into the system’s preexisting routes for voicing our dissent and rage,

ones which did not threaten the status quo...

Nothings changed!

The administration was not moved. We were a million plus “focus group.”

And so...the occupation of Iraq continues…

On March 20th, retake activism in LA! Prove that our rage over this unjust

war and occupation will not be confined to permitted marches facilitated

by bureaucracies that stifle real efforts towards building another world.

Reach out to other activists in the movement, let them know that there is

an alternative to the state, capitalism and the wars these systems

perpetuate. Bring drums, literature, flags, banners, your hearts & voices.

Celebrate our movement! With each day, autonomy & freedom are drawing

closer…

When: March 20th, Global day of protest against the occupation of Iraq

Where: 12 noon - ANSWER rally in Los Angeles at the intersection of

Hollywood & Vine.

(For the contingent, meet up at the head of the march and/or look for

banners and black flags)

it will be a love fest

I'm certain there will be many new members* to link up to.

* Remember, the FBI pay their dues so don't worry about contributions.

Getting rid of capitalism will get rid of war.

After all, communist countries never start wars.

Except for China. And the USSR. And North Korea. And North Vietnam.

Well, now that I think about it, communist countries actually have started a lot of wars.

So let's get rid of capitalism and communism. And everything else to.

Let's just blow up the whole goddamn human race. That'll stop wars!

another one just like the other one

by Casper Thursday, Mar. 18, 2004 at 8:50 PM

or the same one.

Tell me how did China, the USSR, North Korea and North Vietnam start any wars?

This is news. Lets see the links or references.

civil wars

by more rational Thursday, Mar. 18, 2004 at 9:53 PM

They started civil wars and internal revoutionary wars.

Kings go to war, and the peasants die.

The peasants just want to live. The kings wars don't matter when you just want to work/farm/rest.

People who stand up with the peasants against war, and encourage each other to say "no", they get killed by the kings.

In chess, the pawns are the first to die.

Eventually, the rook's technology is employed, the pure hearted knights die, bishops are killed, and even the queen may be sacrificed... but first, the pawns die.

And the king never dies. He's just captured.

leave my good name out of this nonsense

I am the only 'Ann Archy' that has ever worked. Fools in black shirts with zero job skills aren't going to build or preserve anything. Anyone over the age of 15 who still thinks anarchy can work is a rascal.

Seek Christ, ye heathens, that ye may know thy selves better.
