good luck out there
 bush-kerryskull_bones_yale.jpg, image/jpeg, 350x227
My opinion is that I can not vote for Kerry.
http://www.petitiononline.com/NBK/petition.html
Also, I don't think it really matters if you vote Kerry or Bush or Nader or Nolan or whoever .. or if you don't vote at all.
This is the opinion of someone who worked himself into severe financial & physical hardship for the cause of a Dennis Kucinich Presidency. Someone who is completly politically aware of the importance of this election and someone who is fully aware of what a horrible place the US will be after 4 more years.. of either of them.
Bush & Kerry are playing good cop bad cop with the world. The are both Skull & Bones members. They are both liars. They are both completly UNrepresentitive of the American people. They are both fascists, war criminals and corporate whores.
THE NEXT PRESIDENT WILL BE SELECTED BY THE SKULL & BONES!
http://www.kucinichwatch.com/support/John_Kerry_Video.htm
During the last couple of weeks before the election one of the 2 Bonesmen will say something very stupid. The other Bonesmen will win. Just as they've planned it. With out rigging a single voting machine.
This is a best case scenario for them. Many people are playing close attention to the validity of the voting process this election. That won't be a problem now. Many people were worried about the new provisions that allow for martial law and suspension of the voting process completly if the country were to be "attacked" again. That won't be a problem now. Now that we have only the illusion of Democracy... voting for either is truly a wasted vote; good for nothing more than soothing the concious of the willingly oppressed.
The election is over, the rest is just for show. The people, deciding to forgo freedom, have lost once again to the corporations that we have allowed to steal our rights, our power, our resources...
The election is over.
What I would like to say to the millions that will rally on March 20th to bring our troops home and end the occupation ... Where the hell were you when it was time to VOTE for that? If you didn't vote for Kucinich you have no right to march on the 20th for you will not stand up for your own convictions when given the opportunity. Who cares what such a person thinks. Why should "Washington" care what these people think; they will not vote for their convictions anyway. This march will have no effect because the time to march was on primary day... on caucus day... the time to march was when it would accomplish putting a president in the white house that would actually stop the occupation.
What I would like to say to the millions of people who are now unemployed or uninsured and are now looking to the skull & bones member of their choice to fix these problems... Where the hell were you when it was time to vote for these things? If you didn't vote for Kucinich you have no right to whine about your poverty striken disease riddle shell. Nobody, in Washington, cares about people who's sole act of democratic participation is whining.
What I would like to say to those whose city, county or state representitives have voted that the Patriot Act is unconstitutional... Where the hell were you when it was time to vote for the only candidate who agreed with you? You've done nothing to protect your rights and therefore deserve none. Who can waste their time with such people who bitch & moan but refuse to help themselves?
Last night I watched "The Passion" (the Mel Gibson Christ movie). I went because I though it would make me feel good about my life to watch Jesus get the shit kicked out of him for 2 hours. I was right. More importantly, I was awed by the fact that the bulk of the people just stood around watching, making a big show of their grief, letting it happen, taking no intervening action, feeling powerless to stop the otrocity. When the evil folks who wanted Jesus tortured and crucified chanted and marched and refused to take "just" torture for an answer... the followers of Jesus said nothing, crying in the background like deer in headlights. They didn't VOTE.
So when you hit the streets on March 20th to end the occupation; if you didn't vote for for Kucinich I'll thank you for your presence and hope that you are between me harmsway. I would make no sacrifice for those who would stand by and DO nothing. Because I'm not Jesus, I'm your brother and you who refuse to vote for your convictions have failed your family.

Let go already. It's been a week.
Everyone knew DJK was picked to lose. He's there to keep the Nader votes in the Democrat camp. What's really sad is that Howard Dean was blown out of the water by the media.
I hope the conspiracy folks look into the Dean situation. They'll probably find some coordination by the DLC.

Kerry is an anti-defense french goon. The tyrants fear Bush.
If it really doesn't matter which wins, vote for Bush.
Yet I don't think you will.

I totally agree. Bush and Kerry are just two sides to the same coin.
They are agents of a two party, capitalistic system that exploits the naivety of the middle & lower class. People support them because they buy into the false promise of "the American dream." The Fortune 500 and its media have everyone convinced that "they too can end up a millionaire" if they just work harder at making $. Unfortunately, for the vast majority of Americans this is only a pipe dream. They will struggle in vain to climb above their hopeless lot in life. The GOP has always gotten its votes by exploiting this self-centered agenda. It is the party of "the lone entrepreneur," or the next Bill Gates.

Ted,
Despite its flaws, the capitalist, free-market way has proven the best we so far. It's true that not everyone in a capitalist system is going to be a millionaire, but this system produces more millionaires than any other. It's also created the world's highest standard of living.
If what you want is a 'guarantee' of success, well, that's not capitalism. I see no reason why socialists can't go off to a corner of America like the Amish and start a collective society. Many do.
It's somewhat hypocritical to support high taxation and other business-unfriendly tactics and then claim, "You can't make it Anerica." It's that much harder for the "lone individual" when s/he has to also drag several people behind him who take more than they give.
90% of American businesses are small businesses. something to ponder.

...and those 90% get fucked regularly by the 10% that could give a shit about the small busines man who is too stupid to realize that this country's tax cuts and benefits work in favor of the 10%. But then to measure one's success in material wealth or to base the merit of a nation or a system on the number of millionares isa ridiculous in itself.
The small business man in American suffers from the same affliction of many working and middle class people who are duped into thinking that a pro-capitalist agenda works in their favor, and it doesn't. Capitalism is survival of the richest, and eventually the small business man will get screwed by the Walmarts, World Coms and Enrons of this nation, by men who are more wealthy and corrupt that you so get a clue.
If you don't want to pay high taxes than stop the corporate elite from getting breaks that you don't and stop the current administration from spending so much money on murdering people in foreign countries and kidnapping presidents. Taxes well spent should go to our schools and public services that will nurture the people that will patronize your small business and save your ass when the Walmarst come to shut you down.
Do some plumming on your heart and soul and see the light, Ted.

PICK ANY AMERICAN STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE YOU LIKE AND WE’LL DEBATE IT. I ALSO CHALLENGE YOU TO PICK A BETTER COUNTRY WITH A BETTER POLITICAL SYSTEM.
HERE'S AN ADVANCE FOR YOU: WHATEVER OTHER COUNTRY IT IS, WHY AREN'T YOU LIVING THERE?

A DEFEATIST ATTITUDE IS YOUR BIGGEST ENEMY. IF YOU THOUGHT THIS WAS THE 1950s, WHERE YOU WORK 40 YEARS AT THE SAME COMPANY, THINK AGAIN. AT NO TIME WILL YOU EVER HEAR IT SAID, “LIFE IS EASY” CAUSE IT SURE AS HELL ISN’T. CAPITALISM WORKS “IN YOUR FAVOR” IF YOU **MAKE** IT WORK IN YOUR FAVOR. YOU’RE NOT GOING TO BE HANDED ANYTHING AND SHOULDN’T BE ANYWAY.

THE RICH PAY THE MOST TAXES OF ANY INCOME BRACKET IN THE UNITED STATES, SO YES, THEY GET THE BIGGEST TAX CUTS. THE POOR PAY NO TAXES AND THE MIDDLE CLASS TOO MUCH.
YOU’RE ALSO FULL OF CRAP ABOUT “THE PLIGHT OF THE POOR,” WHO MYSTERIOUSLY MAKE $1.33 OUT OF EVERY $1 OF WELFARE RECEIVED. COULD THEY SOMEHOW BE CHEATING THE SYSTEM? SECRETLY WORKING UNDER THE TABLE? HMMM….
WOULD YOU LIKE ANOTHER HELPING OF TRUTH?
"Nearly 40 percent of all "poor" households owned their own homes, and the average home of those classified as "poor" by the Census Bureau is a three-bedroom house with a garage. More than 750,000 of the "poor" owned homes worth more than $100,000, and 71,000 owned $300,000 homes. Nearly 60 percent of "poor" homes have more than two rooms per person. That means that the "poor" have twice as much living space as the average Japanese. And the same percentage have air conditioning.
64 percent own a car; 14 percent own two or more.
74 percent own microwave ovens; 23 percent have automatic dishwashers; 91 percent have color television and 29 percent have two or more TVs.
AND TO ONEEYEDGLANS UP THERE: PANGLOSS LIVED LONG BEFORE THE AGE OF THE AMERICAN LIBERAL BULLSHIT BRIGADE. HA HA HA. BETTER CALL IN AL FRANKEN.

Capitalism is arguably mankind's greatest single invention.
Without it America would look more like Haiti or Cuba.
What we get from Capitalism is jobs, goods, and services. Those are the basics of our world leading economy. Other prosperous countries benefit from the same processes.
Even China is now emerging from the darkness of Socialism. Once they began to embrace Capitalism they began to thrive.
There are some remarkably stupid statements posted above, the dumbest of which is this one:
"false promise of "the American dream." The Fortune 500 and its media have everyone convinced that "they too can end up a millionaire" if they just work harder at making $. Unfortunately, for the vast majority of Americans this is only a pipe dream. They will struggle in vain to climb above their hopeless lot in life."
The vast majority of Americans don't struggle to achieve the American dream doofus. They struggle to find the remote so they can watch the next episode of Oprah or Survivor. They take a dead end job driving a truck or working in retail or worse -- working for the government. They're bound to fail because they follow a proven formula for failing. They choose to fail.
The American Dream is alive and well for those with the energy and motivation to go after it. My heroes are the entrepreneurs like Steve Jobs who came from humble backgrounds and built something. Steve has given us much, and has made himself a multi-millionaire in the process. Contrast Steve with a whiner-complainer like Jesse Jackson or Ralph Nader, troublemakers who have given us nothing, nada, zip, zilch.
Instead of frittering your time away marching in protests and complaining, get an EBay account and look up the word 'Entrepreneur' in the dictionary. Aspire to succeed. Work at it. Break away from the loser mold that you liberals seem so determined to embrace, as if losing was your pre-ordained desttiny.

The problem is that if China were as fully developed as the US is now, we would need two and a half earths to provide the resources - water, electricity, food not to mention minerals.

This bears repeating: The big demonstrations that have become so popular are not only ineffective; they actually make matters worse. By channeling the time, energy, money, and creativity of so many activists into an exercise in futility, these demonstrations and their preparations deflect activist attention from the urgent task of fashioning actual (rather than symbolic) challenges to the corporate world order and the military power that sustains it. Moreover, these demonstrations leave people — activists and regular citizens alike — more rather than less comfortable with the existing order. Watching or reading news reports about the event, citizens feel good about living in “a free country.” Mollified by making the news, participants go home feeling like they have done their part. Indeed, judging from the comments they make to reporters, personal comfort appears to be the primary reason many people attend these events. “I know we can’t stop the war,” goes the usual litany, “but I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t show my disagreement.” Thus, the performance of dissent becomes an end in itself rather than the means to an end.
When we start from the premise that we can’t make a difference, is it any wonder that we don’t? When we choose tactics that are spectacular rather than substantial, should we be surprised when we are simply incorporated into the show? Is it true that the best we can hope for is superficial media coverage of the mere fact that some people disagree with the policies of the Bush regime? Might we dare to dream more extravagantly? Dare we risk disappointment by trying to actually stop the crimes that Bush is perpetrating in our name, rather than simply signal our disapproval of them? What might we do to really make a difference?

Consider the possibility that the world doesn't want to be changed -- especially in the way you want to change it.
The average citizen must ask himself or herself the basic question: "Do I believe I'd be better off with left-wing radicals running the show?"
The answer for most all of us is a resounding, "NNNNNNOOOOOOO."
GW Bush and his administration aren't perfect.
But are they better than anying John Kerry might construct. Certainly, yes they are. And are they better than their predecessors the Clinton regime? Resoundingly YES!! and by a wide margin. Would they be better than the administration of some far left Sociallist leaning twit like Dennis Kucinich? RESOUNDINGLY YES!!!
