To my way of thinking, the top three Presidents of all time would be Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and GW Bush.
Each of these men faced crisis with courage of conviction and demonstrated steady leadership. They did not shrink from difficult decisions. They stepped up and met the challenge.
...left the moron door open?
Bush Admirer, are you ashamed to use your old nick now days?
None of them were elected, but they were all great American leaders.
The US Government is illegitimate. None of the presidents count.
You're high on something. First thing, what about Jackson, everybody forgets Jackson.
Secondly, and geez, you want to talk about holding a nation together, try doing it when there is no nation, just 13 little fiefdoms. Not a single president worthy of the title would think he was better than Washington.
Third, there's a difference between "steady leadership" and pigheaded stubborness for fear of looking weak or wishy-washy.
And I think you've got your Roosevelts mixed up. If you really like Bush 2.0, you should love Teddy. He was a big game hunter with really big guns and actually could ride the horses he owned. He was a neocon's dream who believed thoroughly in the idea of stengthening America by the global projection of military power.
Read a book or get your head out of the sand.
jfk, reagan, lincoln/maybe not in that order...bushjr. is relegated to future reference, or somefuckingthing
