The very existence of "free speech zones" is a fairly frank admission by the ruling class and its flunkies that free speech does not exist elsewhere, just as the very existence of tenured faculty positions that allow professors to say what they want is a frank admission that free speech does not exist for people in most jobs. I like it when the Emperor himself points out that he is not wearing any clothes, except for a fig leaf with the words free speech zone written on it.
